An early adaptor and advocate for mindfulness and corporate/school wellness, Kristin Johnson Bott has brought mindful strategies, brain research, yoga practice, vision board workshops, intention setting, fitness classes and meditation to schools and companies for eighteen years. A sought-after expert, motivational speaker, trainer, and consultant, she is Owner and Founder of Mindful Wellness, LLC which has a three-tiered focus: Mindfulness Training, Nutrition and Fitness/Yoga . Her clients include corporate, health care, insurance, education and non-profits. While working as an educator, Kristin led several At-Risk-Programs and brought mindfulness to students; she witnessed amazing improvements in behavior and focus with reduction in stress and anxiety. She loves using her experience and trainings to empower others to live a healthier happier life.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a Psych minor, and a Master of Science in Special Education from North Dakota University. Her numerous certifications include fitness, personal training, yoga, meditation and mindfulness. She brings 34 years of experience in the fitness and yoga realms and loves teaching MWELL classes. “Kristin with Mindful Wellness was invited to our company to connect with employees as part of an ongoing brown bag series we host once a month. The session, “Dear Stress – Break Up Plan”, was the first of its kind in our company, where the topics generally revolve around technical solutions to complex energy systems. All too often we get so busy in our daily work that we forget that we are human and need nurturing too and this is why her session has become one our favorites that we can refer to often on being good to ourselves. Kristin provided practical tips that were easy to remember and immediately useful.
